PACIFIC FLEET NOTICE NO. 15N-41

From: Commander-in-Chief, United States Pacific Fleet.
To  : PACIFIC FLEET.
 
Subject: Reduction of Interference between boat traffic and Seaplanes at Pearl Harbor.
 
Enclosure: (A) Chart of boat and seaplane lanes, Pearl Harbor.

     1.    Enclosure (A) furnishes an outline of seaplane landing and take-off areas at Pearl Harbor.

     2.    Ships' boats shall not enter the prohibited areas, and shall use the boat lanes outlined in enclosure (A).

     3.    In order to minimize the existing hazards, boats shall use habitually the side lanes of channels except when it is necessary to cross them, in which case the crossing shall be expedited, taking care always to avoid seaplanes and to use the crossing lanes.
