SECRET - MEMORANDUM NOV 28 1940

From: The Chief of Naval Operations.
To: The Director, Fleet Maintenance Division.
 
SUBJECT: Camouflage Measures.
Reference: (a) CNO Secret Serial 045612 of November 1940

1.Reference (a) promulgates advance information concerning the next change to WPL-42.

2.It is desired that Plans C-5, Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, and 9 be changed to include the directives of reference (a) as appropriate.

3.It is requested that the Director, Fleet Maintenance Division, coordinate the work of the Bureau and Offices concerned in carrying out the directives of reference (a) as necessary to insure completion of the Project and issue of the Camouflage Instructions Pamphlets not later than 1 March, 1941.

4.The Pamphlets of Camouflage instructions will be approved by the Chief of Naval Operations prior to issue by the respective Bureau.
