To: The Chief of the Bureau of Ships.
 
SUBJECT: Outside Grey Paint - manufacturing formulas.
Reference: (a)  Buships. confidential ltr. C-S19-l (5) (DYr) dated 21 March 1941.

1.Upon receipt of enclosure (D) of reference (a), it was found that both the paint samples contained formula 5-O, instead of "One each of the 5-L and 5-0 formula". It is requested that the sample of 5-L formula be forwarded as soon as possible, preferably by Air Mail.
